Details

In this discussion, we will hear the stories of individuals in the ShipStation community that have been at the forefront of driving change and building more inclusive and equitable eCommerce brands.

In addition, we will explore ways retailers can improve their brand and make it more inclusive to diverse audiences.

Andrea Woolverton

Co-founder of Twin Engine Coffee

“We envision a world where coffee is excellent. No tricks. Truly good, well understood, & doing the most with its powerful position in the world.”

Andrea Woolverton is the founder of Twin Engine Coffee. After years of working as an agricultural economist, working in economic development in more than 30 developing countries, Andrea decided to take a leap of faith…and practice.

With her husband & partner, Andrea founded Twin Engine Coffee in Nicaragua, a pioneer in “Origin Roasting." The goal —put policy into practice. Offer the most sustainable coffees on the market & help coffee lovers get more with their coffee dollar.

Andrea is originally from a rural, farm family in Malden, Missouri. She is a former economist with the USDA Economic Research Service and the UN Food and Agricultural Organization. She earned her Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Missouri. Andrea lives in León, Nicaragua with her husband, daughter Lucille and great dane, Marge. She uses ShipStation on a daily basis to ship coffees all over the United States.

Coffee In. Poverty Out. Discover Nicaragua's Purest Organic Specialty Coffees. Made 100% Locally to Stop Poverty, One Family at a Time.

Wait. Isn’t that already happening with Fair Trade? Not exactly.
In today’s coffee market, Fair Trade coffees keep about 12, up to 20 cents, on the dollar in the coffee community. 20 cents has not proved to be enough for real sustainability or pathways out of poverty.

Twin Engine Coffee is pioneering a shift. We are among the first Origin Coffee Roasters in the world, crafting 100% Specialty Coffees, USDA Certified Organic & Fair Trade.

Twin Engine Coffee is proud to make these coffees available to you.

The Difference. The Twin Engine Coffee team grows, selects, roasts, & packs At The Source, where the coffee grows. This simple shift “to the source” raises the number to 80 cents. That’s a 400% gain for the coffee community! Powerful. Real.

Each of these coffees is delicious & unique in its own way. Enjoy the journey through depth & quality. Taste the purity when the earth, the Arabica coffee varieties, and the craft shine through. Feel confident knowing that families & the mountain eco-systems get what they need.

Nicaragua is One Origin with So Many Delicious Tastes. Yet, also one of the poorest.

With every purchase, you write your business & your customers into this life-changing story.

The story where your coffee is truly “local” and your community is global.
